Seattle and the PNW will always have my heart
Seattle is a dream. Surrounded by water, mountains and forests, Seattle is everything. Fortunately, I visited during the first week of June, where the sun was shining and the flowers were in bloom. My sister and I had a long layover on our way back from Japan, but we made the most of our 24 hours.
- Chihuly Gardens and Glass
This man was a genius. Dale Chihuly made masterpieces out of glass and created a spectacular pieces.
- Seattle Space Needle
Although we didn’t have time to go up the Space Needle, the Chihuly Garden and Glass Exhibit had a fantastic view.
- Pike’s Place
Everything’s fresh and you want to buy everything. The flower portion of the market was closed by the time we made it there, but here’s the market at night:
- Unexpected Productions & The Gum Wall
Something I really enjoyed was the comedy show that we saw. Unexpected Productions was an improv comedy club where the cast is semi-permanent and asks for a lot of audience involvement. The club was located right next to the market and the Gum Wall. Definitely recommended!
Cannot wait until my next trip to Seattle, hopefully it’ll be longer than 24 hrs.
